Olympic National Park — The largest dam removal in U.S. history just got even cooler. Check out the latest video from the wilds of Olympic National Park.
On Sunday, a big chunk of Elwha River’s upper dam was blasted.
You can see more footage of the blast from photographer John Gussman here.
Removal of the two dams on the Elwha River began more than three years ago, with the Elwha Dam fully removed almost one year ago. The rest of Glines Canyon Dam is expected to be gone by September 2014.
